Description

By putting the five Olympic rings into animated athletics, into a spirit of the ancient games, I’ve achieved a virtual sculptural rendering that, through a single transformation, departs from graphic flatness of the rings and arrive at a volume reminiscent of the vast arena, the swift trails of the human form, and the crowning laurel wreath.

Commentaire / Statement

My area of experimentation and investigations expand over the fields of archi-sculpture design, new–media and animation. As a designer, I am the tempted to attempt and achieve an eventfulness intervention that has expression. As a filmmaker and new media artist, the temptation is to articulately visualize and transform that which can become architectonic.

I’ve been actively involved in visual styling and installation design that is archi-sculptural on projects ranging from dance performance and theatre to film, from experience design to urban architecture and public art installations, and the impact of digital media on these areas.
